About Signature Flight Support (East & West)
Signature Flight Support operates two terminals at Westchester County Airport, one on the East side and one on the West side of the field. Each terminal provides full-service ground handling, fueling, passenger lounges, crew facilities, and maintenance coordination. Passengers are directed to the appropriate terminal based on operator assignment and aircraft type, with both locations capable of handling a wide range of business jets and turboprops.
Westchester County Airport sits 30 miles north of Midtown Manhattan, and Signature's ground operations reflect the pace that New York-area passengers expect. Ramp-to-vehicle transitions move quickly, and both terminals coordinate car service, limousine, and helicopter access directly from the FBO desk.
Both locations participate in Signature's ELITE+ program, the network designation for facilities meeting elevated service and operational standards. ELITE+ membership provides coordinated fuel pricing, standardized handling procedures, and consistent service expectations regardless of whether a flight originated domestically or internationally.
US Customs and Border Protection clears at KHPN. For operators arriving from Canada, the Caribbean, or transatlantic routes, Signature's international handling desk coordinates documentation and customs scheduling in advance, keeping the arrival process efficient.
BLADE helicopter service connects White Plains to Manhattan's West 30th Street heliport in approximately 12 minutes. This option significantly compresses total travel time for passengers with meetings in central Manhattan. Car service to Midtown takes 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic, typically faster than comparable trips from JFK or Newark when all ground delays are factored together.
De-icing at both terminals covers Type I and Type IV fluid application. Westchester sees meaningful winter weather, and Signature maintains equipment and trained crews to execute de-ice operations on tight departure windows. Both terminals run 24 hours a day.

Operations at Westchester County Airport
Midtown Manhattan is about 30 miles south, typically 45 to 60 minutes by car without traffic. With heavy I-287 or Saw Mill Parkway congestion, that can stretch to 90 minutes. Greenwich CT is 15 miles east, around 20 to 25 minutes. Stamford CT is 20 miles east, 25 to 30 minutes. Car service from the Westchester and Greenwich area runs directly to the FBO ramp. Uber and Lyft are available but local hired car services are more reliable for timed arrivals. For Manhattan-bound passengers who need to beat traffic, helicopter transfers to the West 30th Street Heliport are available from the field. The heliport is about 5 minutes by air from KHPN and puts passengers in Midtown in under 20 minutes total.
