HarborWalk Village on the Destin Harbor is about 4 miles. Fort Walton Beach is roughly 8 miles to the west. Car rental is available through the FBO or at nearby locations. Local car services and rideshare operate throughout the area. During summer, US-98 (the main coastal highway connecting the barrier island) can add 20 to 30 minutes to any drive during peak afternoon beach hours. Pensacola is about 45 miles west (roughly 45 minutes in normal traffic). Panama City Beach is about 45 miles east.
