About Million Air Austin
Million Air Austin is the only 24/7 full-service FBO at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, operating from a nearly 15,000-square-foot terminal designed to evoke a Texas Hill Country ranch home. The lobby features sweeping exposed wooden rafters, two limestone fireplaces, and an in-house Million Air Cafe where a staffed barista prepares complimentary made-to-order beverages. Charter passengers step from the ramp into a warm, distinctly Texan interior that sets it apart from corporate chain terminals. Seven hangars totaling over 120,000 square feet can shelter aircraft up to Global and G700 size. The facility's signature feature is a massive ramp canopy, angled to act as a sundial that multiplies the 6,500-square-foot structure's shadow onto the aircraft ramp below, shielding jets from the brutal Austin sun during ground operations. Two conference rooms with full audiovisual equipment are available for business meetings, and wireless internet runs throughout the terminal. Pilot amenities include stadium-seat lounges, private snooze rooms, showers, and complimentary Mercedes crew cars. Million Air AUS serves as the primary private aviation gateway for Austin's booming tech sector, the University of Texas, and the city's year-round events calendar including SXSW, Austin City Limits, and Formula 1 at Circuit of the Americas. The FBO sits on the south side of the field with direct ramp access, and ground transportation to downtown Austin takes about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Concierge services can arrange car service, hotel bookings, and restaurant reservations.

Operations at Austin Bergstrom International Airport
Downtown Austin is 6 miles northwest of the airport. Without traffic, the drive on Highway 71 or Riverside Drive takes 15 to 20 minutes. During rush hour or event weekends, 40 to 50 minutes is realistic, particularly on I-35. Rideshare pickups are straightforward from the FBO. Most operators and hotels can arrange a car service if you want a confirmed vehicle on arrival. Circuit of the Americas is roughly 3 miles from the airport, making KAUS the practical arrival point for F1 and MotoGP events. The Domain, Austin's north side shopping and tech office district, is about 18 miles from the airport and takes 25 to 35 minutes by car.
