Corporate Air

Corporate Air has provided 24-hour FBO services at Allegheny County Airport for over 30 years, making it the established private aviation facility for the Pittsburgh market. The operation was acquired by Vantage Aviation following Corporate Air's bankruptcy filing in 2025, bringing new ownership and investment plans. The facility includes an 11,600 square foot terminal, 110,000 square feet of hangar space, and more than 24,000 square feet of office space. The ramp can accommodate ultra-long-range business jets, giving the facility capacity for the largest aircraft in the business aviation fleet. Vantage Aviation also offers aircraft management and charter services from the site, with renovation plans underway to upgrade the facilities further. Allegheny County Airport is located just eight miles south of downtown Pittsburgh, making it the closest private aviation option to the city center and significantly more convenient than Pittsburgh International Airport (which is about 20 miles west). The airport's proximity to downtown, the universities (Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburgh), and the corporate offices along the Monongahela corridor makes it the practical choice for business travelers. The airport features two runways, with the longest at 6,501 feet, handling most midsize and super-midsize business jets. For charter passengers, the Corporate Air (now Vantage) facility provides a 24-hour operation with significant hangar capacity at an airport that puts you closer to Pittsburgh's business district than any alternative. The ownership transition brings fresh resources while retaining the operational experience built over three decades. Ground transport into downtown takes about 20 minutes, and the facility team coordinates car service, rentals, and hotel bookings.
