Swissport Executive Aviation

Swissport Executive Aviation operates from a dedicated VIP terminal at Marrakech Menara Airport, which opened on 1 February 2020. This was Swissport's second executive aviation facility in Morocco, following the Casablanca FBO that opened in 2018. The terminal spans more than 500 square meters and includes lounge space for up to 40 passengers, a bar, and a media corner. A separate VVIP lounge accommodates up to nine guests in a more private setting. The first floor is reserved for crew members and can hold up to 18 people, featuring a TV lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms, and bathrooms with showers, reflecting how seriously the facility takes crew comfort during turnarounds. The terminal building incorporates a dedicated section from the Moroccan Airports Authority ONDA for police and customs processing, keeping all formalities within the facility. Swissport Executive Aviation handles over 24,000 flights per year across more than 90 bases globally, bringing established operational procedures to the Marrakech operation. The facility shares the business aviation terminal at Marrakech with Jetex, which operates from the same Terminal 02 complex. For charter passengers, Marrakech is one of the most popular private jet destinations in North Africa, drawing visitors year-round to its medina, riads, golf courses, and Atlas Mountain excursions. Menara Airport is located about four kilometers from the medina, making the drive to most hotels very short. Swissport provides 24-hour ground handling, customs processing, and concierge services, ensuring that arriving passengers can clear formalities quickly and be on their way to their accommodation. The lounge areas provide a comfortable buffer between the aircraft and ground transport, which is appreciated during the busy winter and spring seasons.
