About Jetex Marrakech
Jetex operates from Terminal 02 at Marrakech Menara Airport, where it inaugurated what it described as North Africa's first VIP terminal in February 2020. The facility spans 1,000 square meters and is complemented by 25,000 square meters of aircraft parking. The interior was furnished with designer pieces by Zaha Hadid, creating a distinctly modern aesthetic that contrasts with the traditional Moroccan architecture of Marrakech itself. The terminal is open 24/7 and provides a private, confidential environment for passengers who want to bypass the commercial terminal entirely. The Jetex Experience Team manages all travel formalities and special requests, from customs processing to ground transport and concierge services. This was Jetex's fifth location in Morocco, following earlier openings in Casablanca, Agadir, Rabat, and Dakhla, and brought their total African presence to 16 locations at the time of opening. The facility shares the Terminal 02 business aviation complex with Swissport Executive Aviation, giving passengers arriving at Marrakech a choice of handler. Menara Airport sits approximately four kilometers from the old city, making the transfer to the medina, Gueliz district, or the Palmeraie hotel zone quick by car. Marrakech is one of the highest-volume private jet destinations in Africa, with traffic peaking during the winter season (November through March) and around major events. For charter passengers, the Jetex terminal delivers a premium arrival experience with contemporary design, efficient processing, and the full range of support services. The 24-hour customs clearance means flights arriving late at night or early in the morning are handled without delay. Ground transport, hotel bookings, and restaurant reservations can all be arranged through the concierge team.
Amenities and services
Operations at Marrakesh Menara Airport
The airport is 5 km from the Jemaa el-Fna square in the medina, a 15-20 minute drive depending on traffic. The Palmeraie resort area north of the city is about 20 km away, roughly 25-30 minutes. Luxury hotels such as La Mamounia and Royal Mansour are 10-15 minutes by car. Ouarzazate and Atlas Mountain destinations are 3-4 hours by road. Private car service is the standard transfer option and most handling agents can arrange this on arrival. Taxis are available at the terminal but metered fares to the city center are inconsistently applied for arriving international passengers.
