About Gama Aviation
Gama Aviation is the sole executive handling agent at Jersey Airport, responsible for all visiting aircraft over three metric tonnes. This means virtually every business jet arriving in Jersey passes through the Gama operation. The FBO features a VIP passenger lounge and conference facilities, giving arriving passengers a comfortable space for meetings or relaxation before onward travel. Gama also provides aircraft charter, management, and maintenance services on-site, making it a complete aviation operation rather than a handling-only facility. For charter passengers, the arrival process is straightforward: aircraft taxi to the Gama ramp area, and the handling team manages baggage, customs processing, and ground transport coordination. Jersey Airport's compact layout means short taxi times and fast turnarounds. Gama Aviation has secured planning approval for a new purpose-built FBO and hangar development at the airport, representing a significant investment of over 10.5 million pounds. The new facility will house Jersey's air ambulance alongside an upgraded VIP passenger lounge and dedicated crew facilities, substantially expanding the current infrastructure. Jersey sits in the English Channel just 14 miles from the French coast and is one of the Channel Islands, known for its financial services industry and as a leisure destination. The island has no VAT, which benefits handling and fuel pricing. The airport's runway (1,706 meters) accommodates most midsize and super-midsize business jets. For passengers flying privately to Jersey for business meetings or island holidays, Gama provides the only option and delivers professional handling with local expertise. The team can arrange hotel bookings, hire cars, and other ground services across the island.

Operations at Jersey Airport
St. Helier, the capital and main business district, is approximately 5 miles east of the airport. The drive takes 10 to 15 minutes by taxi or hire car under normal conditions. Jersey is small enough that anywhere on the island is within 25 minutes of the airport. Taxi and private car hire are available at the terminal. There is no helicopter transfer service to other Channel Islands airports, but Guernsey (EGJB) is a short 15-minute flight for inter-island connections.
