Ground time from Albany to the Saratoga Race Course runs 35-45 minutes via I-87 North. Signature Flight Support and Million Air operate FBOs at Albany. For aircraft that exceed K5B2's practical capacity (Citation X, Global 6000, Gulfstream), Albany is the standard alternative.

Schenectady County Airport (KSCH), 15 miles west, is less congested than both K5B2 and Albany during racing weekend peaks. The airport handles jets on its 7,001-foot runway and provides available ramp space when Saratoga County fills. Ground time to the Race Course is about 30 minutes by car.
