Landmark Aviation operates the primary FBO. For corporate charters where schedule reliability matters, KCLT works but plan for longer taxi times and occasional delays on the ramp during commercial push periods.

Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (KJQF) in Concord is 18 miles northeast of downtown Charlotte and offers faster private aviation service without the commercial airport friction. Million Air operates an FBO at Concord. The airport handles aircraft up to large-cabin jets and has direct access to the Charlotte Motor Speedway grounds. Ramp availability is good except during NASCAR race weekends, when KJQF becomes one of the most congested GA airports in the Southeast.

For trips where the destination is south Charlotte or the Ballantyne/SouthPark corridor, KCLT and KJQF offer similar drive times. For Uptown Charlotte, KJQF adds 10-15 minutes to the drive.
