About Atlantic Aviation Bermuda
Atlantic Aviation Bermuda is the sole general aviation handler at L.F. Wade International Airport, having acquired the operation from Cedar Aviation Services in late 2025. Cedar Aviation had built a strong reputation over many years for its highly personalized service and long-tenured team, and Atlantic Aviation has retained the existing staff to maintain that continuity while integrating the location into its global network.
The executive terminal spans 6,440 square feet and includes a conference room, meeting space, and concierge services. Nearly 700,000 square feet of ramp space provides ample room for aircraft parking, which is important given Bermuda's popularity during events like the Newport Bermuda Race, the America's Cup, and PGA Tour's Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Standard ground services include GPU, lavatory service, international trash handling, and overnight parking. Customs and immigration assistance is coordinated for all arriving flights.
As the only FBO on the island, Atlantic Aviation handles every private jet arrival in Bermuda, from light jets on quick day trips to heavy and ultra-long-range aircraft bringing guests for extended stays. The team arranges ground transportation, hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, and coordination with the island's resorts including Rosewood Tucker's Point, The Loren, and Hamilton Princess. Bermuda's compact size means most destinations are within 30 minutes of the airport.
Bermuda sits roughly 650 miles east of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, making it about a two-hour flight from the U.S. East Coast in most jets. The island's pink sand beaches, world-class golf, and British colonial character make it a distinct alternative to Caribbean destinations. Atlantic Aviation's fuel purchasing power, AvTrip loyalty program, and network of over 100 locations bring operational advantages to what was previously a single-location independent operation.

Operations at L.F. Wade International Airport
Bermuda does not permit visitors to rent cars. Taxis are the standard transfer option from the airport, and the ride to Hamilton takes 20 to 30 minutes covering about 9 miles. The island's 35 km/h speed limit applies across most roads, so travel times are longer than the distance suggests. Minibus and taxi services operate outside arrivals. For points like Horseshoe Bay or the western parishes, expect 30 to 45 minutes from the airport. Some hotels offer private car transfers by arrangement.
