About ExecuJet Sint Maarten
The FBO at Princess Juliana International Airport in Sint Maarten has undergone significant changes in recent years. ExecuJet originally managed the facility, but Atlantic Aviation acquired the operation and has opened a new state-of-the-art executive terminal as part of the airport's broader reconstruction program following Hurricane Irma's devastating impact in 2017.
The new facility features increased passenger space, a VIP lounge, bathroom and pilot support amenities, and enhanced airside access specifically designed for yacht-to-aircraft transfers, reflecting Sint Maarten's role as a major Caribbean sailing hub. Premium passenger handling, quick-turn fueling, customs and immigration coordination, GPU and lavatory services, catering arrangements, and concierge assistance are all available. The location continues to operate under the ExecuJet name with the existing team in place during the transition.
Sint Maarten is unique in the Caribbean as a dual-nation island shared between the Dutch and French sides, and it serves as a connecting hub for onward travel to St. Barts, Anguilla, Saba, and St. Kitts. The FBO's yacht transfer capability is important because many charter passengers arrive by jet and immediately board a yacht for sailing the Leeward Islands. Ground transportation to Maho Beach, Philipsburg, and Marigot on the French side is coordinated through the FBO.
The airport is famous worldwide for its short runway approach over Maho Beach, where aircraft pass just meters above beachgoers. The runway measures 7,546 feet, adequate for most midsize and super-midsize jets. Overtime and call-out services are available for operations outside standard hours.

The airport is on the southwestern edge of Sint Maarten. Philipsburg, the Dutch capital, is roughly 6 miles by road, about 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic on the Ring Road. Marigot on the French side is approximately 8 miles north, 20 to 25 minutes. The island is small enough that most beach resorts and villa areas are within 30 to 40 minutes of the airport. Taxis are the standard option and are plentiful at the terminal. Rates are fixed by zone and posted at the taxi stand. Car rentals are available for those staying longer. For access to St. Barths, water taxi and ferry connections depart from nearby Oyster Pond and Simpson Bay Marina, or your operator can arrange a short inter-island charter flight directly.
