Jet Centre Curacao is operated by Curacao Air Terminal Services (CATS), a company founded in 1983 by two pilots who wanted to create a smoother arrival and departure experience than what they had encountered at airports across the Caribbean. That pilot-founded perspective remains central to the operation, which functions as the exclusive general aviation ground handler at Hato International Airport.

The Jet Centre serves as a dedicated VIP terminal separate from the commercial side of the airport. The facility includes a relaxing executive lounge with free Wi-Fi, drinks, and snacks, along with customs and immigration processing on location. The 24/7 VIP handling service means aircraft can arrive at any hour without scheduling complications.
