About Signature Antigua
Signature Flight Support operates the FBO at V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua, providing full ground handling and Jet A fueling for private and charter aircraft arriving in this Eastern Caribbean island nation. The facility is located at the former Runway 10 area, with a trained ground handling staff and direct ramp access for passenger vehicles, ensuring a discreet and convenient arrival and departure experience.
Expedited customs and immigration processing is handled at the FBO, keeping passengers separate from the commercial terminal queues. The concierge team arranges ground transportation, hotel transfers, and coordination of onward travel. For passengers transferring to yachts, Shell Beach Marina sits directly opposite the FBO, making Antigua a natural arrival point for sailing itineraries through the Leeward Islands.
Antigua is famous for having 365 beaches, and the island's English Harbour is one of the Caribbean's most historic sailing ports, home to Nelson's Dockyard, a restored 18th-century British naval facility that now hosts restaurants, shops, and marina services. Antigua Sailing Week, held each spring, is one of the premier regattas in the Caribbean and drives significant private jet traffic to the island.
The airport features a 9,003-foot runway that accommodates heavy and ultra-long-range jets without restriction. Nonstop flights from the U.S. East Coast take approximately four hours in most jets. Antigua also serves as a connecting hub for smaller aircraft heading to neighboring islands like Barbuda, Montserrat, and St. Kitts. Signature's global network means fueling cards and loyalty programs carry over, and the operational standards are consistent with their facilities throughout the Caribbean and worldwide.
