About ExecuJet Auckland

ExecuJet Auckland holds a unique place in New Zealand aviation history. The facility traces its origins to Air Center One, established in 1964 as the country's first FBO and corporate jet operator. ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group, acquired the operation in January 2022 and brought its global service standards to a team that already had over 35 years of continuous operation at Auckland International Airport.

The FBO operates on a private apron separated from commercial traffic, with direct vehicle access that allows passengers to drive right to their aircraft. The VIP lounge offers expansive views of the ramp area along with internet access, daily newspapers, and complimentary refreshments. Private meeting rooms and a dedicated guest lounge provide space for pre-departure work or relaxation. Customs and Immigration processing happens on site through New Zealand's Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), eliminating the need to transit the main international terminal.

The staff are trained to serve a range of high-profile clientele, including corporate executives, heads of state, and royalty, with an emphasis on discretion and privacy. Crew rest areas, ample parking, and full aircraft handling round out the operational side.

Auckland serves as the natural gateway for private jet travel throughout New Zealand, whether passengers are heading to Queenstown for skiing, the Bay of Islands for fishing, or Hawke's Bay for wine country. The airport's location in the wider Auckland region places passengers within 30 minutes of the central business district. ExecuJet coordinates all ground transportation, hotel arrangements, and onward travel logistics.

Auckland CBD (Britomart, Viaduct Harbour) is 21 km north of the airport. In normal traffic the drive takes 30 to 40 minutes via State Highway 20A and the Southern Motorway. During morning and evening peak hours, allow 60 to 75 minutes. Executive car services and taxis are available curbside. Uber operates at the airport. Rental car desks are in the terminal forecourt. Parnell, Newmarket, and the North Shore require additional travel time beyond the CBD figures. Waiheke Island, a common destination for private visitors, is reached via ferry from downtown Auckland (35 minutes from the Ferry Building). Helicopter transfers from the airport to Waiheke or the Hauraki Gulf islands can be arranged through local operators.
