About Odyssey Aviation Exuma
Odyssey Aviation Exuma is the first and only FBO at Exuma International Airport, and it has earned the number one Caribbean FBO ranking from Aviation International News. The multi-million dollar terminal spans 4,800 square feet with a six-acre aircraft parking apron capable of handling aircraft up to a Boeing 767. A 55,000-gallon bulk Jet A fuel farm ensures quick turnarounds even during peak season.
For arriving passengers, the experience begins with on-station Bahamas Customs and Immigration right inside the terminal, which means clearing formalities takes minutes rather than the drawn-out process at the commercial side. The passenger lounge features a coffee and popcorn bar, HD satellite TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and catering coolers for provisioning. A modern flight planning room with a WSI weather station sits adjacent to the crew lounge.
All line service personnel hold NATA Safety 1st and Gulfstream Safety certifications, and the ramp is monitored 24 hours by CCTV cameras throughout the facility and parking areas. Ground transportation is well coordinated, with limousines, SUVs, luxury car services, and taxis available around the clock on request. The concierge team arranges hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, and water taxi transfers to the cays.
Exuma draws visitors heading to the famous swimming pigs at Big Major Cay, the Thunderball Grotto, and some of the most secluded beaches in the Bahamas. Odyssey Aviation makes the gateway seamless. The facility also has on-site laundry and dishwashing for extended crew stays, an ice machine, and state-of-the-art refueling equipment for efficient service during busy charter weekends.

Operations at Exuma International Airport
George Town, the main settlement on Great Exuma, is about 4 miles south of the airport. Taxis meet most arrivals and the ride takes under 10 minutes. Sandals Emerald Bay resort is approximately 9 miles north of the airport. Local car rental is available at the airport through small operators, though availability is limited and advance booking is recommended during peak season. For properties on the outer cays, boat or seaplane transfer is standard. Several charter boat operators work out of George Town and Stocking Island. Helicopter transfers to private islands are arranged through local operators and some resorts directly.
