About Signature Panama City
Signature Flight Support operates from the General Aviation Terminal at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, providing ground handling from a 7,000-square-foot state-of-the-art FBO facility designed specifically for business and general aviation traffic. The facility represents Signature's continued strategic expansion in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Customs and immigration are located on-site within the terminal, providing convenient clearance for international arrivals without requiring passengers to visit the main commercial terminal complex. Signature offers a waived handling fee structure tied to minimum fuel purchases, which can reduce the overall cost of stopping at Tocumen.
The FBO operates Monday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with after-hours service available by calling ahead. The team handles fueling, aircraft parking, passenger lounge services, ground transportation, and concierge coordination for passengers heading into Panama City or connecting to other Central American destinations.
Tocumen International Airport is Panama's primary gateway and one of the busiest airports in Central America, largely due to its role as a hub for Copa Airlines. The airport has undergone significant expansion in recent years with the addition of Terminal 2. Private aviation operations use the original runway area, which sees primarily cargo and general aviation traffic, providing some separation from the heavy commercial operations.
Panama City's financial district and the Casco Viejo historic quarter are about 25 to 35 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. The Panama Canal locks at Miraflores are roughly 40 minutes away. For passengers continuing to the San Blas Islands, Bocas del Toro, or other Panamanian destinations, domestic connections and helicopter transfers can be arranged.
For charter passengers, Signature at Tocumen brings the consistency of a global FBO brand to an important Central American hub, with modern facilities and on-site customs that streamline the international arrival process.
