Universal Aviation Toluca

Universal Aviation operates an IS-BAH Stage 2 certified FBO at Toluca International Airport, the preferred private aviation gateway to Mexico City. The full-service terminal spans 16,385 square feet of modern facilities, backed by five hangars providing the largest storage capacity in Toluca, with three overnight hangars totaling 92,000 square feet and a 16,640-square-foot maintenance hangar.

The facility features 135,000 square feet of ramp space with three direct access points from taxiways, which keeps ground movements efficient during busy periods. Security is comprehensive: biometric fingerprint scanners and CCD cameras control hangar and ramp access, a dedicated area houses drivers and security guards, and more than 100 security cameras monitor the property.

The FBO completed a multi-million dollar renovation that modernized passenger and crew areas, and Universal first earned IS-BAH accreditation in 2023, with the Stage 2 certification valid through November 2027. The terminal includes VIP lounges, crew rest areas, flight planning facilities, and concierge services. Customs and immigration are processed within the FBO.

Toluca International Airport sits about 60 kilometers west of Mexico City's center, connected by a modern toll highway that takes roughly an hour in normal traffic. The airport's 13,780-foot runway accommodates the largest business jets, and with 8-plus FBOs on the field, Toluca is Mexico's busiest business aviation airport. Universal's facility can handle aircraft up to Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 size.
