About Punta Cana FBO Terminal
The Punta Cana FBO Terminal is a dedicated private aviation facility at Punta Cana International Airport, one of the few privately owned international airports in the world. Located west of the main international terminals on the south side of taxiway E, the FBO Terminal handles small airplanes, helicopters, and executive jets for both international and domestic flights.
The building is new and well-appointed, featuring a reception area, a VIP section with sofas for relaxing, a crew lounge, and a small kitchen offering complimentary food and drinks. Customs and immigration officials are stationed within the FBO Terminal, allowing private jet passengers to clear all entry formalities without visiting the main terminal complex. The VIP Terminal is available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week, and prior permission from airport management is required to use the facility.
Ground services include aircraft handling, fueling coordination, parking, and catering arrangements. The staff coordinates ground transportation for passengers heading to the resort areas along the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic, including Bavaro Beach, Cap Cana, and the various all-inclusive resort complexes.
Punta Cana International Airport sits on the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic and is the country's busiest airport, handling over 8 million passengers annually across its commercial terminals. The private FBO operates in a separate zone from this commercial traffic, providing a quieter arrival experience.
For charter passengers, the Punta Cana FBO offers a practical entry point to the Dominican Republic's resort coast. The Cap Cana marina and residential community is just minutes from the airport, and the string of beachfront resorts running north along Bavaro Beach are within 15 to 30 minutes by car. The facility handles the customs process efficiently, getting you from aircraft to resort ground transportation quickly.
