About United Aviation Services
United Aviation Services has been the leading business aviation handling company in Spain for more than 40 years, and their station at Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernandez Airport connects private jet passengers to the Costa Blanca resort coast. The company operates across all major Spanish airports, giving them deep institutional knowledge of the country's aviation regulations and airport procedures.
At Alicante, United Aviation provides a full suite of ground handling services for private flights. Passengers are met planeside by a dedicated agent who escorts them through customs and immigration, handles all baggage, and coordinates ground transportation. The meet-and-greet service extends to arranging VIP catering, landing and overflight permits, and crew transport on the airside.
The Alicante facility functions as both a fixed base operator and a handling station, with crew transport provided between the aircraft and the terminal. United Aviation's operations center coordinates fueling with Jet A1, parking arrangements, and any special requests ahead of arrival.
Alicante airport sits about 9 kilometers southwest of the city center and serves as the primary gateway to the Costa Blanca, a stretch of Mediterranean coastline running from Denia in the north to Torrevieja in the south. The region draws steady private aviation traffic year-round, with peaks during summer months and holiday periods. Popular destinations within driving range include Benidorm, Javea, Altea, and the golf resorts around Murcia.
For passengers arriving by charter, the process is efficient and discreet. United Aviation's bilingual staff manages all formalities so you can move from aircraft to car in minutes, with luxury vehicle transfers arranged to hotels, villas, or marinas along the coast.
