About Tucson Jet Center

Tucson Jet Center is a locally owned, family-operated FBO at Tucson International Airport, purchased by general manager Amanda Lawver in 2019 after she worked her way up through the company's ranks. The facility is located about 20 minutes from downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona campus, providing full-service support for private aviation in Southern Arizona.

The terminal includes a passenger lounge, a conference room, shower facilities, wireless internet, complimentary newspapers, coffee, water, and ice, and dedicated restrooms. The service philosophy emphasizes first-class treatment from the moment you arrive, with plane-side transportation, gourmet catering coordination through local restaurants, and state-of-the-art pilot and passenger lounges. On-site rental cars, courtesy cars, crew vehicles, and cargo handling are all available.

Aircraft services cover Jet A and 100LL fueling, oxygen and nitrogen, GPU, lavatory service, and spacious hangar accommodations with 24/7 security monitoring. The facility can arrange ground transportation to any destination in the Tucson metro area.

Tucson's appeal for private aviation passengers extends across seasons. Winter months bring snowbirds and golf travelers who enjoy the mild desert climate, while the fall and spring shoulder seasons draw visitors to the gem and mineral shows (Tucson hosts the world's largest each February), the Tucson Festival of Books, and the surrounding nature preserves. Saguaro National Park flanks the city on both its east and west sides. The nearby resort communities of Oro Valley and Marana, with properties like the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain, generate regular luxury travel demand. As a family-run operation, Tucson Jet Center offers a personal touch that distinguishes it from the chain FBOs.

The resort corridor in the Foothills (Loews Ventana Canyon, Miraval, and properties near Sabino Canyon) runs 20 to 30 minutes north depending on destination. Dove Mountain and Saguaro National Park West are about 35 to 40 minutes. Car service and rental cars are both available at the airport. Ride-share pickup is at the commercial terminal; FBO staff can coordinate car service for private arrivals directly to the ramp.
