Sheltair at Tampa International Airport earned the number-one FBO ranking in the Americas from Aviation International News in both 2017 and 2018, and has placed in AIN's top five percent for four consecutive years. Pilots have also voted it a top-two FBO in North America, making it one of the most decorated FBO facilities in Florida and across the country.

The terminal features a 29-foot arrival and departure canopy that shelters passengers as they move between aircraft and the building. Inside, an executive boardroom and secondary conference room serve business travelers, while a flight planning and weather room, crew showers, and complimentary refreshments address operational needs. An adjacent U.S. Customs facility handles international arrivals without requiring repositioning to another terminal.

Sheltair TPA provides domestic and international handling for aircraft up to Antonov An-124 size, making it capable of supporting the largest charter operations and freight missions alongside standard business aviation. Ground support includes on-site rental cars, crew cars, shuttle service, catering, complimentary interior aircraft cleaning, and concierge coordination for hotel and dining arrangements.

The facility recently completed a hangar expansion, adding capacity that the growing Tampa Bay market has demanded. Future development plans include additional hangar and office complexes to accommodate increasing demand.
