About Signature Flight Support
Signature Aviation operates three separate terminals at Teterboro, more than any other FBO on the field. The West terminal sits at 401 Industrial Avenue on the airport's west side, sharing that stretch of road with Atlantic Aviation. It handles a high volume of corporate and charter traffic with 24/7 operations, heated hangars, and a passenger lounge with complimentary Wi-Fi and refreshments. The West terminal is a solid workhorse facility. It won't knock you out with luxury, but it runs smoothly and offers quick access to Route 17 and the highways connecting to Midtown Manhattan via the Lincoln Tunnel or George Washington Bridge.
What makes Signature unique at Teterboro is the flexibility of three terminals. If you need discretion, Signature's South terminal (at 485 Industrial Ave, south side of the field) is the one to request. It sits away from the busier ramp areas and offers private VIP suites, dedicated secure parking, and the ability to arrange direct vehicle access to the ramp with prior TSA coordination. This is where high-profile travelers, heads of state, and celebrity clients tend to route their flights. Overnight parking runs $355 at South versus $220 at the East and West terminals, reflecting that premium positioning.
When your charter operator asks which FBO to use at Teterboro, Signature gives you options. The East terminal (200 Fred Wehran Drive, east side) is the former Meridian facility, acquired by Signature in January 2024. That terminal carries over Meridian's legacy amenities, including a private screening room, pool table, fitness center with locker rooms and showers, and crew sleep rooms. Meridian had been operating at Teterboro since 1946 and consistently ranked among the top FBOs in the country before the acquisition. The East terminal opened its current building in 2006 and still feels like the most passenger-focused of the three Signature options. Ground transportation coordination is standard across all three terminals. Your car will be waiting on the ramp or just steps from the door.

Operations at Teterboro Airport
Teterboro sits 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan. By car, the Route 46 corridor connects to the Lincoln Tunnel or George Washington Bridge. Without traffic, the drive runs 25-35 minutes; during peak commute hours it can exceed 90 minutes. Most FBOs arrange car service directly, and black car services such as Carey, EmpireCLS, and BostonCoach all service the airport. For passengers prioritizing speed into Manhattan, helicopter transfers from the Teterboro ramp to the Downtown Manhattan Heliport or East 34th Street Heliport cover the distance in roughly 8 minutes, FBOs can coordinate same-day bookings. New Jersey Transit's Meadowlands rail station is approximately 4 miles away, though most private passengers use car service.
