About Atlantic Aviation

Atlantic Aviation at New York Stewart International Airport operates a 24-hour FBO from Building 112 at 1032 First Street in New Windsor, providing ground handling, fueling, large charter support, international handling, and cargo services. The facility's round-the-clock operation distinguishes it from some competitors and serves the needs of late-arriving or early-departing passengers.

Stewart International sits in the heart of the Hudson Valley, about 60 miles north of Manhattan via I-87. The airport's 11,817-foot main runway, originally built for military operations, handles the largest business jets and cargo aircraft without weight or length restrictions. This capability, combined with uncongested airspace and no slot requirements, makes Atlantic Aviation at Stewart a practical choice for operators who want to avoid the delays and congestion of Teterboro, Westchester, and the metro-area airports.

For passengers, the Hudson Valley location provides access to a region that has undergone a culinary and cultural renaissance. Beacon, home of the Dia:Beacon contemporary art museum, is 15 minutes east. The Storm King Art Center's outdoor sculpture park is 10 minutes south. West Point, Mohonk Mountain House, and the Catskill Mountains are all within easy driving distance. During fall foliage season, the region draws both leisure visitors and corporate retreat groups.

Atlantic's cargo handling capability at Stewart is also noteworthy for charter passengers traveling with oversized equipment, event materials, or large luggage sets. Belt loaders, forklifts, and warehousing can be arranged. U.S. Customs is available on the field. Between the 24-hour availability, the long runway, and the growing appeal of the Hudson Valley as a destination in its own right, Atlantic Aviation SWF serves a passenger base that values space and flexibility over proximity to midtown Manhattan.

Midtown Manhattan is roughly 60 to 65 miles south via I-87, typically 90 minutes by car in normal conditions. Add 30 to 45 minutes during peak weekday hours. Car services routinely make the run and most FBO staff can arrange meet-and-greet pickup. West Point Military Academy is about 15 miles south. Woodbury Common Premium Outlets is 20 minutes. The Catskills are 45 minutes to the northwest. Stewart is not served by helicopter shuttle services to Manhattan on any regular basis, so ground transfer is the standard option.
