About Sonoma Jet Center
Sonoma Jet Center is the only IS-BAH accredited FBO at Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa, California, serving as the primary private aviation gateway to Sonoma County wine country. In operation since 2005, the facility has earned recognition as one of the first FBOs in the country to offer Sustainable Aviation Fuel and achieve IS-BAH Stage II safety accreditation.
The elegantly remodeled 2,400-square-foot executive terminal provides a refined arrival experience that matches the wine country destination it serves. Hangar capacity totals over 75,000 square feet across multiple structures, including a newly constructed 22,000-square-foot hangar that can house aircraft up to Gulfstream G650 size, as well as a preserved 12,000-square-foot World War II-vintage hangar that adds historical character to the facility.
Services include Avfuel-branded fueling, ground and aircraft services, maintenance, aircraft detailing, and a full suite of concierge offerings covering hotel reservations, ground transportation, catering, and winery tour coordination. For passengers visiting Sonoma County, the FBO staff can arrange visits to acclaimed wineries in the Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Sonoma Valley appellations, all within a 30-minute drive.
The airport is named for Charles M. Schulz, creator of Peanuts, who lived in Santa Rosa for over 30 years. The nearby Charles M. Schulz Museum is a popular stop. The airport's 6,000-foot runway handles most midsize jets, and the field sits about 55 miles north of San Francisco, making it a natural choice for wine country weekends. Sonoma Jet Center's combination of environmental responsibility, safety accreditation, and wine country hospitality positions it as a distinctive FBO on the Northern California circuit.
