About Midwest Premier SGF Aviation

Midwest Premier SGF Aviation is the full-service FBO at Springfield-Branson National Airport, serving as the hub for private and corporate travel in the Ozarks region of southwest Missouri. The facility underwent a $6.7 million renovation and expansion completed in fall 2023, adding nearly 4,300 square feet of high-end finishes to the original building, including a full kitchen for catering and redesigned restrooms that can handle the passenger loads from larger aircraft.

The terminal welcomes nearly 30,000 pilots and corporate travelers each year. Inside, you will find a spacious lobby, a computerized flight planning area, a private conference room, a public community room, a quiet pilot lounge, and a fresh market with snacks and beverages. Customer service representatives handle catering, hotel reservations, rental vehicle arrangements, and other concierge needs. Line service technicians provide fuel, deicing, GPU service, lavatory service, aircraft marshaling, tie-down, and towing.

Springfield is the third-largest city in Missouri and home to Bass Pro Shops' world headquarters, Missouri State University, and a growing healthcare sector anchored by Mercy and CoxHealth hospital systems. Branson, the entertainment destination known for its live music theaters and Table Rock Lake, is about 40 miles south. The region draws leisure visitors for fishing, golf, and the Ozarks' natural scenery.

The airport is a landing rights facility for international flights, with after-hours and weekend clearance available by contacting CBP in advance. The primary runway, 14/32, runs 8,001 feet and handles all midsize and most super-midsize jets. Midwest Premier's recent investment in its facility signals a serious commitment to matching the growing demand for private aviation in this part of Missouri.
