About Jackson Jet Center
Jackson Jet Center operates a full-service, 24/7/365 FBO at 2710 East Old Tower Road at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and is a member of the Air Elite Network, a global collection of independently owned FBOs that meet elevated service standards. The facility features what is described as the largest canopy in the area, a 31,000-square-foot shade structure that protects aircraft and passengers from Phoenix's intense desert sun, where summer temperatures routinely exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The shaded ramp is not just a luxury here but a practical necessity that sets Jackson apart from competitors. Over 70,000 square feet of hangar space accommodates aircraft up to the Gulfstream GV and Bombardier Global Express. The terminal includes luxurious lobby areas, pilot service facilities, and three private conference rooms. The newest conference room is equipped with a flatscreen TV and HDMI connectivity for presentations. The FBO provides full aircraft services including fueling, ground handling, and concierge support for ground transportation, catering, and local arrangements. Phoenix Sky Harbor sits three miles east of downtown, providing quick access to the central business district, Tempe's Arizona State University campus, and the Scottsdale resort corridor. For passengers attending events at the Phoenix Convention Center or the Footprint Center arena, the airport's central location keeps transfer times short. The 11,489-foot primary runway handles all aircraft types, and Sky Harbor's ATC manages the mix of commercial and general aviation traffic efficiently. Jackson Jet Center competes with Cutter Aviation at Sky Harbor, and its Air Elite membership, shade infrastructure, and modern conference facilities make it the preferred choice for passengers and flight departments seeking a more contemporary FBO experience in the Phoenix market.
Amenities and services
Operations at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
Downtown Phoenix is a 10-minute drive from the FBOs. Scottsdale, the most common destination for private aviation passengers arriving at Sky Harbor, is 20 to 25 miles northeast, roughly 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic on the 202 or surface streets. Paradise Valley is about 20 miles northeast. Tempe and ASU are immediately adjacent, under 10 minutes. Phoenix is a driving city. Car services and black car operators are plentiful and typically meet passengers at the FBO. Uber and Lyft operate throughout the metro. Rental car options are available on-airport. The Valley Metro Rail light rail line has a Sky Harbor stop, but it connects to downtown Phoenix and Tempe rather than Scottsdale, and is rarely used by private aviation passengers.
