About Atlantic Aviation

Atlantic Aviation at Philadelphia International Airport operates on 29 acres with 18 acres of concrete ramp, making it one of the largest FBO footprints in the United States. The facility at 8375 Enterprise Avenue is the sole private aviation provider at PHL, giving it a commanding position in the Philadelphia market. A major renovation completed in summer 2021 modernized the lobby, offices, conference rooms, and amenities with updated technology throughout. The terminal features VIP lounges and dedicated ramp space for large group charters, which the FBO handles regularly for professional sports teams, entertainment tours, and corporate events. On-site U.S. Customs clearance serves international private aviation arrivals, and private parking and security screening facilities streamline the process for charter groups. Atlantic also supports Angel Flight charitable medical transport missions from the facility. Philadelphia International's runways, with the longest at 10,506 feet, accommodate any business jet type, and the airport's location along the Delaware River in the southwestern part of the city puts passengers about 20 minutes from Center City, Independence Hall, and the convention center. The sports complex at South Philadelphia, home to the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers, is just minutes from the terminal. Atlantic handles visiting team aircraft and fan charters throughout the sports calendar. The FBO provides full ground handling, fueling, maintenance support, catering, and baggage service. Staff assists with ground transportation, hotel bookings, and local arrangements. For passengers who need the convenience of the city's primary airport and its commercial connecting flight options, or who are arriving with larger aircraft that require PHL's long runways, Atlantic provides the only private aviation gateway at one of the Northeast's major airports.

Center City Philadelphia is 7 to 8 miles from the airport and takes 15 to 25 minutes by car service depending on traffic. The I-95 and I-76 interchange near the airport can slow things during rush hour. King of Prussia and the Main Line suburbs are 20 to 25 miles northwest, typically 25 to 40 minutes. Wilmington, Delaware is about 28 miles south, roughly 30 minutes. For trips to Manhattan, the drive runs approximately 95 miles and takes 1.5 to 2 hours without major delays on the New Jersey Turnpike. Car service companies including transportation arranged through the FBO are the standard option. The SEPTA Airport Regional Rail line connects to Center City in about 25 minutes for those traveling light, though most private jet passengers use ground transportation arranged in advance.
