About Atlantic Aviation
Atlantic Aviation is the sole FBO at Portland International Airport, operating a 12,112-square-foot terminal that blends Pacific Northwest design sensibility with full-service private aviation capabilities. The lobby features two fireplaces, designated seating areas, and design elements of stone and reclaimed wood that create a distinctly Oregon atmosphere. Two conference rooms are equipped with the latest audio and visual technology for business meetings. A cafe area doubles as an observation point where passengers can watch ramp activity. One-third of the main building is dedicated to crew amenities, including lounges, storage, and bedrooms for pilots and line technicians. The campus includes two 30,000-square-foot hangars capable of housing aircraft up to the Gulfstream G650 and Bombardier Global 6000, along with 15,490 square feet of office and shop space. Parking accommodates 235 vehicles. Atlantic's Flightcraft maintenance division operates on site, providing full aircraft maintenance services that allow flight departments to combine FBO stops with scheduled service work. The FBO handles 24-hour operations with discreet arrivals and personalized ground handling. Portland International's location along the Columbia River puts the terminal about 20 minutes from downtown Portland, with easy access to the I-205 and I-84 corridors. The Pearl District, Lloyd District, and Portland's central business area are all within a reasonable drive. Passengers heading to the Oregon Coast, Mount Hood, or the Columbia River Gorge benefit from PDX's position as the natural gateway to these destinations. As the only private aviation option at Portland's primary airport, Atlantic operates without direct on-field competition, and the facility's investment in both terminal aesthetics and operational capacity reflects that market position.
