About Beach Aviation Services

Beach Aviation Services is the primary FBO at Myrtle Beach International Airport, operating from an 11,272-square-foot general aviation terminal that traces its roots to the airport's conversion from Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in 1992. The facility handles the steady flow of private aviation traffic drawn to the Grand Strand's 60 miles of beaches, over 80 golf courses, and a tourism economy that attracts roughly 20 million visitors annually. Passengers arriving by charter or private jet enter through the dedicated GA terminal, which is separate from the commercial side of the airport. The facility offers 270,000 square feet of heated hangar space that can accommodate aircraft up to the size of an Embraer Legacy 650. Go Rentals operates on site, making ground transportation straightforward upon arrival. The ramp provides ample space for tie-downs and transient parking, and 24-hour self-service fuel is available via credit card outside of regular operating hours. The FBO is open daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with after-hours service available for an additional fee. The airport's former military infrastructure gives it a distinct advantage: the 9,503-foot primary runway can handle virtually any business jet, and the field rarely experiences the congestion issues common at smaller coastal airports during peak season. Beach Aviation's location puts passengers within a short drive of popular destinations including Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, and the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. For golf groups chartering in for a long weekend, the airport's position along the central coast provides balanced access to courses from Pawleys Island to North Myrtle Beach.
