About Del Monte Aviation

Del Monte Aviation has served the Monterey Peninsula since 1946, earning consistent recognition in the Aviation International News annual FBO Survey as one of the nation's top facilities. The terminal is decorated in a warm California Spanish style that feels more like a private club than an airport, and the operation occupies 16 acres of ramp space at Monterey Regional Airport.

The facility accommodates the full spectrum of business aviation aircraft, from light jets to heavy airframes including Boeing 757s and C-17 military transports. Passenger amenities include comfortable lounges, meeting space, Wi-Fi, and a staff that understands the expectations of Monterey Peninsula visitors. Ground transportation, catering, and concierge services are all available.

Del Monte's service list extends to mobile refueling, ground power units, lavatory service, potable water, air start, air stairs, baggage belt loading, and hangar storage. This breadth of support is useful for operators of larger aircraft or those requiring specialized ground handling.

As a second FBO option alongside Monterey Jet Center, Del Monte brings competitive pricing and a distinctly personal atmosphere to the field. The facility's nearly 80-year history on the peninsula means deep local relationships and an understanding of what brings visitors to this part of California.

Pebble Beach, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and the 17-Mile Drive are all within 15 minutes of the airport. The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Fisherman's Wharf are in the immediate area. During Car Week in August and the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February, both FBOs operate at capacity.

The airport's 7,616-foot runway at 257 feet elevation handles all standard business jet types. Del Monte Aviation's combination of historic presence, ranked service quality, and Spanish-style charm makes it a distinctive choice for passengers arriving on the Monterey Peninsula.
