About Jet Aviation Milwaukee

Jet Aviation Milwaukee opened in 2023 as Jet IN FBO at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, then joined the global Jet Aviation network through acquisition in September 2024. The transition brought the facility into a worldwide FBO and MRO organization while retaining the newer building and equipment installed at opening.

The 40,000 sq ft hangar includes a 28 ft door opening, accommodating most mid-size and super-midsize business jets without clearance restrictions. The facility focuses on turboprop, small, and mid-size business jet operations, which represent the core of charter and corporate traffic at Milwaukee Mitchell.

Full-service capabilities cover fueling, ground handling, passenger amenities, and crew facilities. Integration into the Jet Aviation network means passengers and operators with Jet Aviation accounts can apply consistent pricing and handling protocols across Milwaukee and the broader network's locations in North America, Europe, and Asia. This matters for operations that connect Milwaukee stops to international destinations without switching account structures.

Aircraft cleaning, towing, and ramp services are available on request. The facility handles Jet A fueling for turbine aircraft across the turboprop and business jet range.

Milwaukee Mitchell International lies 5 miles south of downtown Milwaukee. Ground transport to the city center takes around 15 minutes under normal conditions. The airport handles substantially less traffic than Chicago O'Hare or Midway, which means faster ramp access, shorter taxi queues, and predictable departure windows without slot or flow control overhead.

For corporate travelers visiting Wisconsin's manufacturing, financial, and healthcare sectors, Milwaukee Mitchell is closer and faster than routing through Chicago for many Midwest destinations. The airport sits near the I-94 corridor connecting to Racine, Kenosha, and the industrial centers south of the city.

The facility runs 24 hours a day.

Downtown Milwaukee is 6 miles north of the airport. A car service or rideshare runs about 15 to 20 minutes in normal traffic. The Pfister Hotel and the Third Ward are both under 25 minutes by car. For Chicago-area travel, the drive to the Loop takes 85 to 100 miles depending on your destination and roughly 90 minutes without construction delays. Amtrak's Hiawatha service runs between Milwaukee's downtown station and Chicago Union Station, but the station is a separate leg from the airport. Most passengers heading to Chicago use car service direct from the FBO.
