About Centric Aviation

Centric Aviation is the FBO lease-operator at Chautauqua County Airport in Jamestown, New York, serving the southwestern corner of the state and the Chautauqua Lake resort region. The facility at 3163 Airport Drive provides fueling services with Jet A and 100LL, flight instruction, hangar storage, aircraft maintenance, de-icing, and basic passenger amenities. Centric also operates the FBO at nearby Dunkirk Airport, giving them coverage across both Chautauqua County airfields. The airport has a 5,299-foot primary runway that handles light jets and turboprops, which covers most of the charter aircraft serving this type of regional destination. Chautauqua County draws summer visitors to the Chautauqua Institution, a historic lakeside community that hosts a nine-week season of lectures, performances, and educational programs that has been running since 1874. The Institution's programming attracts a well-traveled audience, and private aviation traffic picks up noticeably during its summer season. Chautauqua Lake itself offers boating, fishing, and waterfront dining. Jamestown is also the hometown of Lucille Ball, and the National Comedy Center, which opened in 2018, has become a year-round draw. The surrounding area includes the Peek'n Peak ski resort and the Amish communities of the Conewango Valley. For charter passengers heading to the Chautauqua Institution or the lake communities, Jamestown's airport provides direct access without the need to fly into Buffalo or Erie and drive over an hour. Centric Aviation keeps the facility functional and the service personal, as you would expect from a small community airport FBO.
