About Signature Flight Support FAT
Signature Flight Support is the primary FBO at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, serving as the aviation gateway to three of America's most iconic national parks: Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon. The facility is located at 3050 North Winery Avenue and provides comprehensive private aviation services in California's San Joaquin Valley.
The terminal includes a refreshment bar, a crew lounge with a quiet room and two sleep rooms, and a large executive conference room that seats up to eight people with projector and screen capabilities. U.S. Customs clearance is available on site for international flights. Signature FAT provides aircraft maintenance, storage, and fuel services, with ground handling available for all aircraft sizes.
Fresno Yosemite International features multiple runways, with the longest at 9,222 feet, accommodating the full range of business jets. The airport sits at 336 feet elevation in the valley floor, avoiding the density altitude concerns that affect mountain airports in the Sierra Nevada.
For charter passengers, Fresno is the most practical major airport for reaching Yosemite National Park. The park's southern entrance at Wawona is approximately 65 miles northeast, a drive of about 90 minutes through the Sierra foothills. Sequoia and Kings Canyon are roughly the same distance to the southeast. This is substantially closer than flying into San Francisco or Sacramento, both of which require four to five hours of driving to reach the parks.
Fresno is also the economic center of one of the most productive agricultural regions in the world, and the airport sees steady business aviation traffic from farming operations, food processing companies, and water management agencies. Signature FAT provides reliable, full-service FBO operations for both leisure travelers headed to the parks and business visitors working in the valley.
