Augusta Aviation

Augusta Aviation is the sole FBO at Daniel Field, a general aviation airport located just one mile west of downtown Augusta, Georgia, and approximately three miles from Augusta National Golf Club. That proximity to Augusta National makes Daniel Field the closest airport to the Masters Tournament, and the facility transforms each April into one of the busiest private aviation operations in the Southeast.

The airport features two asphalt runways, with the primary runway 5/23 measuring 4,002 feet. The shorter runways limit operations to light and midsize jets, turboprops, and smaller aircraft. A control tower is activated specifically during Masters Tournament week to manage the surge in business jet traffic.

Augusta Aviation provides Jet-A and 100LL fuel, aircraft parking, hangar space, and NATA safety-certified line technicians. The terminal includes a pilot lounge and rest area, wireless internet, and complimentary ice and coffee for aircraft. Aircraft cleaning services, GPU, and taxi coordination are available. The FBO also operates maintenance, flight instruction, and charter services from the field.

During Masters week, Augusta Aviation offers dedicated tournament support services. The airport fills to capacity with business jets and turboprops from across the country, and advance coordination for parking and fuel is essential. Outside of tournament season, Daniel Field provides convenient access to downtown Augusta, the Augusta Canal, and the city's growing cyber and military communities linked to nearby Fort Eisenhower.

For charter passengers, Augusta Aviation delivers a straightforward, locally operated FBO experience at the most convenient airport for reaching downtown Augusta and Augusta National. The short runways require some planning, but for appropriately sized aircraft, Daniel Field eliminates the longer drive from Augusta Regional Airport.
