About Columbia Jet Center

Columbia Jet Center is the primary FBO at Columbia Regional Airport in central Missouri, serving the University of Missouri community and the Mid-Missouri business corridor. The facility operates a substantial fuel farm with two 20,000-gallon Jet-A tanks and three fuel trucks for 24-hour mobile fueling, ensuring quick turnarounds even during peak demand periods like Mizzou football weekends.

The terminal includes a passenger lobby, a pilot lounge, a private conference room, wireless internet throughout, and a shower for crew use. Heated hangar space is available for overnight storage, and ramp-side vehicle access lets passengers drive directly to their aircraft. Hertz and Enterprise rental cars are stationed on site, eliminating the wait for off-airport pickup. Ramp fees are waived with a minimum fuel purchase, keeping costs straightforward.

Columbia Jet Center supplies Phillips 66 aviation fuels and offers flight instruction and aircraft sales alongside its FBO operations. The combination of services makes the facility a one-stop resource for both transient and based aircraft.

Columbia sits at the geographic center of Missouri, roughly equidistant from St. Louis and Kansas City. The university drives much of the air traffic, with visiting teams, recruits, donors, and academic professionals flowing through regularly. The city is also home to a growing healthcare sector anchored by University of Missouri Health Care, Boone Hospital Center, and the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital. For charter passengers, Columbia Regional offers a 6,501-foot runway and instrument approaches that keep the airport accessible in most weather conditions. Columbia Jet Center provides the reliable, no-fuss service that makes mid-Missouri trips practical and efficient.
