About Cutter Aviation

Cutter Aviation at Colorado Springs Airport holds the distinction of being America's oldest continuously family-owned FBO, founded in 1928. The company began operations at Colorado Springs in 1979 and took over the full FBO role in 2006, building steadily since then with major facility investments.

The campus includes an executive terminal of approximately 9,000 square feet, 132,000 square feet of aircraft hangar storage, and a leasehold spanning over 16 acres. Cutter constructed a dedicated fuel farm with 62,000 gallons of Phillips 66 aviation fuel capacity, and a 23,100-square-foot hangar specifically for overnight storage of larger corporate aircraft during inclement weather. The ramp and adjacent parking areas can accommodate jets of all sizes.

For charter passengers, Cutter Aviation offers competitive Jet-A and 100LL pricing through Phillips 66, with professional line service and guest services throughout your visit. The facility includes a passenger lounge, crew amenities, and ground transportation coordination. Colorado Springs Airport features a 13,501-foot runway, one of the longest in the region, capable of handling even the largest business jets without performance concerns at the airport's 6,187-foot elevation.

Colorado Springs is the gateway to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and The Broadmoor, one of America's grand resort hotels. The airport sits on the southeast side of the city with direct access to I-25, putting most destinations within 15 to 20 minutes. Cutter Aviation's nearly century-long track record in private aviation means passengers receive service from a team that genuinely understands what charter travelers expect.
