About Redtail Jet Center
Redtail Jet Center is the sole FBO at Canyonlands Regional Airport in Moab, Utah, and serves as the closest full-service aviation facility to both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Located at 94 West Aviation Way, the facility is the natural arrival point for charter passengers visiting one of the most striking landscapes in the American West.
The FBO provides both 100LL and Jet-A fuel, lounges for passengers and crew, and a flight planning area. Three courtesy cars are available on a first-come, first-served basis for quick trips into town. Moab itself is a compact community where restaurants, hotels, and outfitters are all within a short drive of the airport. The facility operates daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with contact available outside those hours.
Redtail also maintains an aircraft maintenance operation on the field, handling everything from annual inspections to pre-buy evaluations and interior upgrades. While this is primarily a service for aircraft owners, it means the facility has experienced mechanics on hand if any issues arise during your visit.
For charter passengers, flying into Moab eliminates the four-hour drive from Salt Lake City or the five-hour drive from Denver that commercial travelers face. Canyonlands Regional has a 7,100-foot runway at an elevation of 4,557 feet, accommodating most midsize and smaller business jets. The airport sits on a plateau above the Colorado River valley, and the approach offers aerial views of the red rock formations that make this region famous. Whether you are visiting for mountain biking, river rafting, or simply exploring the national parks, Redtail Jet Center provides a straightforward and welcoming arrival.
