About Lane Aviation

Lane Aviation has served Columbus since 1935, making it the longest-running private aviation provider in the city and one of Ohio's most established FBOs. The facility sits between the control tower and the commercial terminal at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, giving passengers quick access to the airfield and ground transportation.

The complex spans 11.3 acres of ramp space and includes six heated hangars totaling 140,000 square feet. Lane Aviation operates around the clock with NATA Safety 1st Certified line service agents, so your aircraft is handled professionally regardless of when you arrive. The terminal includes four conference rooms, a pilot lounge with sleep rooms, and high-speed internet throughout. Freshly baked cookies greet arriving passengers, a small touch that reflects the company's hospitality-first approach.

For charter passengers, the real value here is the concierge-level coordination. Lane Aviation's staff handles hotel reservations, rental car arrangements, catering, and shuttle services. An on-site U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility means international flights clear customs without leaving the FBO. The facility also houses a Part 145 repair station, so any maintenance issues can be addressed on the spot.

Columbus is a growing corporate hub and the home of Ohio State University, and Lane Aviation has positioned itself as the premium gateway to both. Whether you are attending a Buckeyes game, visiting the Short North Arts District, or flying in for business at one of the city's Fortune 500 headquarters, Lane Aviation delivers a polished and efficient private aviation experience backed by nearly nine decades of operational history.
