About Atlantic Aviation

Atlantic Aviation operates one of two FBOs at Charleston International Airport, located at 6060 South Aviation Road in North Charleston, just a few miles from the historic downtown peninsula. The facility provides full ground handling, fueling, aircraft parking, hangar storage, and a passenger terminal with a pilot's lounge. GPU service, catering, and aircraft maintenance are available on the field. After-hours service can be arranged by calling the FBO directly. For charter passengers, Charleston is one of the most popular leisure destinations on the East Coast, consistently ranked among the top cities in the country by travel publications. The historic district, with its cobblestone streets, antebellum mansions, and James Beard Award-winning restaurants, draws a constant stream of visitors for weddings, culinary tourism, and cultural exploration. The city's growing tech sector and manufacturing base, anchored by Boeing's 787 Dreamliner facility, have added corporate traffic to the mix. Atlantic Aviation CHS sits on the north side of the airport, which shares runways with Joint Base Charleston, an active Air Force installation. The presence of military operations means the airport has long runways and robust air traffic control, though charter passengers may occasionally encounter military traffic patterns. Ground transportation to the French Quarter and King Street takes about 20 minutes from the FBO. Atlantic's concierge team can arrange car service, hotel reservations, and restaurant bookings. For passengers visiting Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, or Kiawah Island, the airport is a convenient arrival point for all the Lowcountry beach communities.
