Plans for the terminal include converting a hangar into an avant-garde, two-level space with a concierge desk, a club-style lounge, a refreshment bar, pilot snooze rooms, a flight planning area, and a ramp-side patio designed to take in mountain views year-round. The FBO operates on a 24/7 on-call basis, ensuring coverage for the late-night and early-morning arrivals common during ski season at Big Sky Resort. Bozeman Yellowstone is Montana's busiest airport, and private aviation traffic has surged over the past decade as the Big Sky area has attracted high-net-worth buyers, tech-industry remote workers, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts. The airport serves as the primary gateway to Big Sky Resort, about 50 miles south, and Yellowstone National Park's north entrance at Gardiner, about 85 miles south. World-class fly fishing on the Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone rivers draws anglers from spring through fall. Million Air's entry into this market gives charter passengers a third FBO option alongside the established operators, bringing competition that benefits all visitors.
