About Signature Flight Support
Signature Flight Support operates the FBO at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, located at 50 North Airport Drive on the north side of the field. The facility provides 24-hour fueling and ground handling services, supported by an FAA-approved repair station that handles maintenance for airlines, corporate, and general aviation customers. For charter passengers, Buffalo Niagara is the primary private aviation gateway to western New York, the Niagara Falls region, and the Canadian border. The airport sits about 10 miles east of downtown Buffalo and roughly 20 miles from Niagara Falls, making it the closest major airport to one of the most visited natural attractions in North America. The FBO serves both domestic and international traffic, with proximity to the Canadian border generating regular cross-border charter movements. Buffalo's resurgence as a food and cultural destination, anchored by the waterfront Canalside district, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, and the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Martin House, has increased tourism-related charter traffic. The city is also home to the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, which generate sports charter demand during their respective seasons. Signature BUF offers the chain's standard amenities including a passenger lounge, Wi-Fi, refreshments, and flight planning resources. Ground transportation, rental cars, and hotel bookings can be arranged through the front desk. The airport's three runways and ILS approaches provide reliable all-weather access, which is important in a market that sees significant lake-effect snow from November through March.

Operations at Buffalo Niagara International Airport
Downtown Buffalo is 8 miles west of the airport, a 15 to 20 minute drive without traffic. Niagara Falls (U.S. side) is about 20 miles north, roughly 25 minutes. The Canadian side of Niagara Falls is around 25 miles, but customs crossing times at the Peace Bridge or Rainbow Bridge vary widely and can add 30 to 60 minutes. Toronto is approximately 95 miles from KBUF, but the Peace Bridge border crossing makes door-to-door times unpredictable. Under light conditions the drive runs about 1.5 hours; during peak hours or with commercial truck backups at the bridge, 2.5 to 3 hours is realistic. Car services operate from the FBO. For Toronto-bound passengers with flexible timing, the border crossing condition on the day is the main variable to track.
