IFLY FBO opened in 2020 at Stockholm Bromma Airport with a dedicated VIP and crew facility equipped for year-round business aviation operations. The facility includes a VIP lounge area, crew lounge and rest area, conference room, and direct apron access for both passengers and vehicles. Free vehicle apron access allows passengers to be driven directly to or from their aircraft, minimizing time between the terminal and the jet. IFLY provides all ground support equipment required for both summer and winter operations, including the de-icing and heating capabilities necessary for the Swedish climate. The facility offers free three-hour aircraft parking, which covers most short turnaround visits. The 2020 opening year was challenging due to the pandemic, which suspended all flights at Bromma for a period, but the facility has since established itself as a functional alternative to Grafair Jet Center on the same airfield. Stockholm Bromma Airport is located just seven kilometers from central Stockholm, making it the closest airport to the city center by a significant margin compared to Arlanda (40 kilometers). This proximity is Bromma's primary advantage for business travelers who need to be in central Stockholm quickly. The airport handles predominantly private and business aviation traffic, with private jets accounting for the majority of passenger aircraft landings. For charter passengers, IFLY FBO provides a straightforward arrival and departure experience at an airport where ground transport into central Stockholm takes about 15 minutes by car. The facility is newer than the longer-established Grafair operation at Bromma and competes on convenience and service quality. Airport operating hours are more restricted than major hubs, so flight scheduling requires advance coordination.
