About Jet Aviation
Jet Aviation operates an IS-BAH Stage 2 certified FBO at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe's busiest commercial airports. The facility has been welcoming private aviation passengers since 2018 and features two executive lounges, two crew lounges, crew workstations, and flight planning facilities with weather briefing capabilities. On-site immigration and customs processing allows international arrivals and departures to be handled within the FBO, avoiding the commercial terminal entirely. The facility provides passenger handling, ground transport coordination, hotel arrangements, catering, aircraft cleaning, de-icing, and Jet A1 refueling. Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is available on-site, with off-site book-and-claim options for operators who want to offset their carbon impact. An important operational detail for passengers: general aviation arrivals at Schiphol are restricted to the hours of 06:20 to 21:50 UTC, and slots must be booked in advance. This means flights cannot arrive or depart at any hour, and advance planning is essential. The airport is located nine miles southwest of Amsterdam city center, with excellent rail and road connections. Schiphol's sheer size and commercial traffic volume mean that taxi times can be longer than at dedicated business aviation airports, but Jet Aviation's dedicated ramp and handling keep the FBO experience separate from the airline side. For charter passengers, the Jet Aviation facility at Schiphol offers the convenience of Amsterdam's primary airport with professional handling that insulates passengers from the complexity of a major hub. The double lounges ensure capacity during busy periods, and the crew facilities are well regarded by flight crews. The IS-BAH Stage 2 certification confirms adherence to international safety and operational standards.

Operations at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
Amsterdam city center (Dam Square) is 17 km from the airport. By car or car service, the drive takes 20 to 30 minutes outside rush hour and 45 to 60 minutes during peak traffic on the A4 and A10. The Hague is 47 km, roughly 35 to 45 minutes. Rotterdam is 60 km, 50 to 60 minutes under normal conditions. Schiphol has a train station directly below the main terminal with frequent direct service to Amsterdam Centraal in 15 to 17 minutes. For private aviation, most passengers use pre-arranged car service, which FBOs can coordinate. Helicopter transfers to the city are technically possible but uncommon due to Amsterdam's restricted airspace and lack of central helipads.
