About Woodgate Aviation
Woodgate Aviation has operated at Belfast International Airport since 1969, making it the longest-established business aviation provider in Northern Ireland. The centerpiece of the operation is a modern 33,000 square foot hangar built in 2015, accessed through what was at the time of construction Europe's largest hydraulic door. The hangar can accommodate aircraft up to Gulfstream 650 size and provides climate-controlled storage for based and visiting jets. The private jet departure terminal features an executive lounge with seating for up to 20 passengers, mood lighting, a full bar, tea and coffee facilities, WiFi, and newspapers. Passengers are handled separately from the commercial terminal, with airside vehicle collection and drop-off available for those who prefer to be driven directly to or from their aircraft on the ramp. Woodgate provides chauffeur transfers, VIP in-flight catering, customs and immigration coordination, and UK pet importation services. As an NBAA member, the facility maintains high safety and service standards. The team handles everything from baggage and aircraft servicing to fuel (both Jet A1 and AVGAS/100LL) and secure aircraft parking. For charter passengers heading to Belfast or onward to destinations across Northern Ireland, Woodgate offers a well-equipped and professionally run facility. The combination of modern infrastructure, experienced staff, and a full hangar operation sets it apart as a genuine full-service FBO rather than a handling-only operation. Belfast International's uncongested airfield and long runway make arrivals and departures straightforward.
