About SkyFill Aviation

SkyFill Aviation is a locally owned Shell FBO Network member located on the west end of Apron 2 at Thunder Bay International Airport. The company has over 35 years of experience in aviation refueling and aircraft handling. The facility was recently renovated and now features a pilots lounge, private meeting space, a flight planning computer and printer, free WiFi, and complimentary coffee. A local information center helps visiting crews and passengers find their way around Thunder Bay. A rental courtesy van is available on request for crew or passengers needing to run errands or pick up supplies. As a Shell FBO Network member, SkyFill offers Shell Aviation fuel products and participates in the Shell fuel-and-fly program, which can provide pricing advantages for operators who use the Shell network regularly. For charter passengers, SkyFill provides a straightforward, no-frills experience focused on efficient fuel service and comfortable amenities while you wait. The FBO's west-side location on Apron 2 provides good ramp access for arriving aircraft. Thunder Bay International is about 15 minutes from downtown and serves as the transportation hub for northwestern Ontario, connecting to remote communities, mining operations, and wilderness destinations. The airport has a 7,500-foot primary runway and full instrument approach capabilities. SkyFill handles both Jet A1 and Avgas fueling. For passengers stopping briefly at Thunder Bay en route to another destination, SkyFill specializes in quick turnarounds that minimize time on the ground.
