Ground time to downtown Tampa is 20-25 minutes; to St. Petersburg it's 30-40 minutes via I-275.

Peter O Knight Airport (KTPF) on Davis Islands is 3 miles from downtown Tampa and offers the fastest city-center access of any local option. The runway handles light jets and turboprops only; larger aircraft cannot use it. For light jet charters where the passenger count is two or three and the priority is downtown Tampa access, KTPF is the right call. Sheltair operates there.

Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ) serves the south metro and Sarasota market, 60 miles south of Tampa. For trips to Sarasota, Bradenton, or the barrier islands (Longboat Key, Anna Maria), KSRQ is the correct arrival airport rather than routing through Tampa Executive. Signature and Sheltair both operate at KSRQ.
