June is the secondary peak. Auction Napa Valley, held annually in June, brings the highest density of private aircraft to KAPC of any week outside harvest. Ramp space fills well in advance of Auction weekend.

Summer and fall shoulder periods are active. The combination of year-round winery access, Michelin-starred restaurants, and cycling routes keeps traffic moving from May through November with only a January-February lull.

Napa County Airport (KAPC) sits 5 miles south of downtown Napa and 9 miles from Yountville. The longest runway is 5,930 feet, sufficient for most light and midsize jets but a limitation for some super-midsize and heavy jets operating near maximum weight. On warm summer days, density altitude at KAPC can push payload restrictions on heavier aircraft. Operators running large-cabin jets sometimes position through Oakland (KOAK) instead and drive 45 minutes to Napa.

Two FBOs operate at KAPC: Napa Jet Center and Skyservice Napa. Both offer fuel, ramp space, passenger lounges, and ground transport coordination. Ground transportation is well organized around KAPC; most luxury hotels, winery groups, and car services have standing relationships with the FBOs.

For aircraft that can't operate at KAPC's runway length, Oakland International (KOAK) and San Francisco (KSFO) are about 45–55 miles by road. Sonoma County Airport (KSTS) serves the Sonoma wine region, which is a distinct market from Napa—use it for trips focused on Healdsburg, Sonoma, or the Russian River Valley rather than the Napa Valley wineries.
