Magellan Jets Jet Card

Magellan Jets is a Boston-based jet card broker founded in 2008. It sells cards in 25, 50, and 100-hour increments at fixed all-in hourly rates. The primary differentiator from most competitors is no peak day surcharges: cardholders pay the same hourly rate on Thanksgiving weekend as any other day of the year. No blackout dates apply and guaranteed availability is available 365 days. Four cabin categories cover light, midsize, super-midsize, and heavy jets. Fuel surcharge and FET (7.5%) are included in the quoted hourly rate; there are no separate billing line items. Rate lock lasts 12 months on a 25-hour card and 18 months on a 50-hour card. Standard callout is 48 hours, with some flexibility to 24 hours in certain cases. The daily minimum is 1 hour on light and midsize jets. The primary service area covers the contiguous 48 United States. Magellan operates as a broker, arranging flights through an operator network that requires at minimum ARGUS Gold certification; many operators in the network hold Platinum. Hours carry forward with no expiration date. Refund requests can be submitted in writing within five business days of completing the first flight, with unused hours refunded minus completed flight charges.
