About Avflight Ogden
Avflight Ogden is a full-service FBO at Ogden-Hinckley Airport, Utah's busiest municipal airport for general aviation. Avflight acquired the former Kemp Jet Services operation in December 2024, bringing its global network resources to a facility that has long been popular with ski travelers and corporate visitors to northern Utah. The terminal features comfortable pilot and passenger lounges, a gym, a conference room, and complimentary refreshments. The facility is modern and clean, reflecting the recent investment and transition. A 50,000-square-foot, four-bay hangar with a door system large enough for aircraft of any size provides covered parking and protection from Utah's winter weather. Avflight coordinates rental car services and handles fueling, deicing, and ground support with a professional team retained from the previous operation. The airport's 8,103-foot primary runway sits at 4,473 feet elevation and can accommodate most business jet types, though high-altitude performance planning is important during summer months. The location is what makes Ogden-Hinckley particularly appealing for winter visitors. Snowbasin Resort and Powder Mountain are both within 30 minutes by car, and Park City's resorts are roughly 45 minutes south via I-84 and I-80. For ski groups who want to avoid the congestion and higher fuel prices at Salt Lake City International, Ogden provides a compelling alternative with a shorter drive to several popular mountains. The city itself has invested heavily in its historic 25th Street district, which offers restaurants, breweries, and shops within 10 minutes of the airport. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, Ogden served as a host city for several events, and the area's outdoor recreation infrastructure has continued to develop in the years since.
