Signature Flight Support

Signature Flight Support operates the sole FBO at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the upper Midwest. As the only private aviation provider on the field, Signature handles all charter and corporate traffic at MSP, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The facility provides full de-icing capability, which is a necessity during Minnesota's extended winter season that can run from November through April. The Signature team at MSP is experienced with cold-weather operations, including hangar space for aircraft protection, pre-heat services, and coordination with the airport's snow removal teams. For charter passengers, this means reliable service even during the frequent winter weather events that can disrupt operations at less-prepared facilities.

The terminal includes a passenger lounge, Wi-Fi, complimentary refreshments, conference rooms, and ground transportation coordination. Rental cars and car service are available for passengers heading to destinations throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

MSP has four runways, with the longest at 11,006 feet, handling any aircraft in the business aviation fleet. The airport is located about 10 miles south of downtown Minneapolis and 10 miles southwest of downtown Saint Paul, making it centrally positioned between the two cities. The drive to either downtown takes 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic and time of day. The Mall of America is just 3 miles south of the airport.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission encourages general aviation use of the six reliever airports around the metro, including Flying Cloud, Anoka County-Blaine, and Crystal. These offer lower fees and less congestion. But for passengers who need the infrastructure of a major international airport, or whose schedule benefits from MSP's instrument approach capabilities and air traffic management, Signature MSP is the only option on the field.
